The "Throwie" is the fifth iteration of the Friday Knights word mark, and invokes my motivation for illustration. As a child, cartoon characters were my companions; I'd recreate my favorites every day after school, eventually coming up with my own. The new "Bubble Stack hoodie" is a cartoon ode to NYC's iconic bubble graffiti, with (17) multi-hued layers of our new Throwie word mark stacked atop one another like graffiti pieces on a brick wall, and drawn as if each letter was inflated to the brink with an ACME air pump.
