Bubble Stack Tee - Lotus

The "Throwie" is the fifth iteration of the Friday Knights word mark, and invokes my motivation for illustration. As a child, cartoon characters were my companions; I'd recreate my favorites every day after school, eventually coming up with my own. The new "Bubble Stack tee" is a cartoon ode to NYC's iconic bubble graffiti, with (17) multi-hued layers of our new Throwie word mark stacked atop one another like graffiti pieces on a brick wall, and drawn as if each letter was inflated to the brink with an ACME air pump.

Made of 100% USA cotton, this textile is beefy, durable, and absorbent, and is virtually shrink free as a result of pigment dyeing. The garment is washed with natural enzymes, resulting in a broken-in feel, just like a T-shirt that was washed or worn for a decade or two. Its special features include its heavy and sturdy feel and combined with a more generous fit (about 1 wider on the flat than a contemporary T-shirt) and higher neck line.
